NOVELETA, Cavite – For his non-conventional projects in just a span of one year, Noveleta Chief Executive Dino Reyes Chua was hailed as one of the Outstanding Mayors for 2018 by Superbrand Marketing International (SMI).
Dennis Abrina, Mayor Chua’s publicist, told PNA on Monday that the awarding rites, held at City Club of Alphaland Makati Tower, was led by SMI Chairperson Karl Mclean and President and CEO Harry Tambuatco.
Abrina said that the Stanford University-bred Mayor Chua received the plaque of recogntion and a coffee table book during the March 17 awards rites in Makati City.
Chua joined the ranks of the Superbrand Most Outstanding LGU chief executives with Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla; Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista; Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan; Cauayan City Mayor Bernard Faustino Dy; Laoag City Mayor Chevylle Fariñas; and Lipa City Mayor Maynard Sabili.
Chua is recognized for his ‘Doc to Door program’ clinic on wheels, ‘E-Trike garbage collection’ Oplan Tokbang” Katok basura, monthly Job Fairs, Freebies for Noveleta senior citizens and the revival of its Long Beach tourism projects.
This small town of Noveleta, which used to be a barrio of the municipality of Kawit, enjoys a vantage geographical position due to its long natural beach and compact size.
Aside from being the town’s mayor, Chua also serves as President of Skyjet Airlines. (PNA)
