Oil pump prices rise on Labor Day

MANILA -- Oil firms have announced increase in pump prices effective May 1, Labor Day.

Effective 12:01 a.m., Petron will carry a price hike of PHP1.90 per kilogram for liquefied petroleum gas, and PHP1.05 per liter for AutoLPG.

Starting 6 a.m., Petron, Jetti, TOTAL, Eastern Petroleum, Phoenix Petroleum, PTT Philippines, SEAOIL, Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Flying V, and Shell will implement price hike of PHP0.85 per liter for gasoline, and PHP0.70 per liter for diesel.

Likewise, Petron, SEAOIL, Flying V, and Shell will raise the price of kerosene by PHP0.70 per liter.

The oil firms said the adjustments reflect price movements in the international petroleum market. (PNA)
