TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – The Department of Education (DepEd) in Region IV-A (Calabarzon) has directed schools division superintendents and functional division chiefs to attend the one-day training workshop on protocol and social graces at Extremeli Suites, Paraǹaque City on June 28.
The DepEd regional memorandum released Tuesday said the activity boosts support to the regional education’s management committee members’ commitment to ensure sophistication and the observance of internationally-accepted standards on social graces, etiquette, good manners and right conduct in school campuses.
The day-long seminar, according to the memo, expects learning outputs that “will enable members to manage themselves showing etiquette, fashion and refinement.”
The top management of DepEd’s regional office is expected to participate in this event.
This will also demonstrate how the educators, teachers and mentors are looked upon as “models” by their students, especially in observing the right and desirable behavior and traits in schools. (PNA)
