MANILA -- Telco firm Globe Telecom advises its subscribers that it will be conducting upgrades on its system from 8 pm of August 16 to 6 am of August 17 which may prevent the registration to certain promos on its prepaid services.
“During this time, you might have trouble registering to Globe Prepaid promos. To avoid inconvenience, we suggest you register to your favorite promos now. We’ll work hard to finish the activity as soon as possible,” Globe said in a text advisory to subscribers.
The telco likewise assured subscribers that they may still use their data from their own promos during the duration of the system maintenance. Other services such as voice calls and text messaging are also not expected to be affected while the upgrade on the company's systems are on-going. (PNA)
