MANILA -- Local oil companies are again poised to raise the price of unleaded gasoline effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, August 21.

In separate announcements, oil firms said that their gasoline products will increase by a moderate PHP0.30 per liter.

There will, however, be a PHP0.20 per liter decrease in the price of kerosene.

Meantime, the price of diesel will remain unchanged this week, they added.

It may be recalled that last week, there was no price adjustment for kerosene. But the price of diesel and gasoline went up by PHP0.25 per liter, and PHP0.15 per liter, respectively.

Spokesmen for the oil industry said price adjustments reflect the movements in the international petroleum market which are being passed on to local consumers. (PNA)
