SULTAN KUDARAT, Maguindanao – President Rodrigo Duterte is in tip-top shape and is not sick as alleged by Communist Party of the Philippines founding chair Jose Maria Sison.

Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go made the assurance as he graced on Monday this town’s 71st foundation anniversary culmination rites. On the same day, the official was also special guest during Datu Abdullah Sangki town’s 14th foundation anniversary celebration.

“Napakalakas po ng ating Pangulo (Our President is very strong),” Go said referring to a Facebook post of Sison alleging that the President has gone into a coma.

“The President is in tip-top condition. He even gave me many instructions in connection with my work,” Go said citing that he and the President talked between 1-2 a.m. Monday.

While in Abdullah Sangki town, Go also told local reporters about Sison’s allegation, dispelling it as false. “The President and I just laughed at the allegation,” he said.

Go said Sison must have been dreaming when he claimed the President is in a comatose state. Go later posted on his Facebook account a video of President Duterte and himself to dispel the claim. (PNA)
