MANILA — Cignal-Ateneo looks to continue its fine streak in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) D-League as it battles FamilyMart-Enderun Titans at the Paco Arena on Monday.

Fresh from a 103-75 romp of the Go For Gold-CSB Scratchers on February 14, the Blue Eagles will try to add the Titans to the list of its early victims in the D-League season in their 2 p.m. meeting.

Cignal-Ateneo was essentially without Thirdy Ravena in its season opener due to his academic concerns.

But with Isaac Go, Adrian Wong, Matt Nieto, and Ange Kouame stepping up, the team manhandled Go For Gold-CSB to the delight of coach Tab Baldwin.

"We're not doing a lot, really, but the guys played very efficiently for us and that's one thing I really liked," Baldwin said

This time, Ravena is with Gilas Pilipinas and the former national team coach is once again expecting Go and company to take over.

The Blue Eagles are not the only team vying for a 2-0 start as the Chadao-FEU Tamaraws and the Valencia-San Sebastian Golden Harvest battle in the main game at 4 p.m.

Chadao-FEU mauled fellow University Athletic Association of the Philippines side SMDC-NU, while Valencia-San Sebastian scored the first stunner of the season by pipping Marinerong Pilipino in overtime.

However, after their match, only one of them will go 2-0 up.

"It's another opportunity for us to get better," Tamaraws coach Olsen Racela said. (PNA)
