MANILA — Adamson made a shuffle in its women's volleyball coaching staff following a surprisingly dismal start in the team's University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) campaign.

As announced on Friday, Onyok Getigan will be elevated from assistant coach to head coach, replacing American mentor Air Padda.

The change was made after the Lady Falcons started the season 0-3.

Padda, however, will stay with the coaching staff as conditioning coach.

Getigan has been with the Lady Falcons since 2017 as assistant while concurrently taking charge as their junior counterparts' head coach. Getigan stays as the high school girls’ team's chief mentor.

Getigan makes his debut on Sunday as Adamson takes on National University at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. (PNA)
