MANILA — San Miguel Beermen players Kelly Nabong and Ronald Tubid were each meted with three-game suspensions following their roles in the much talked about court invasion by a fan in Spider Man costume during Game 5 of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals on May 10.

Tubid gave a parting shot, a punch, to the costumed fan, identified as Paolo Felizarta, while he was being escorted to the nearby police station from the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Nabong, on the other hand, also hit a second fan, a certain Flenn John Lola, when he was confronting the Beermen at the bench moments after Felizarta was caught.

Commissioner Willie Marcial also handed two-game bans each to SMB staff members Daniel Henares and Dr. Ramon Ibañez.

Nabong and Tubid were slapped with a PHP75,000 fine each, while Henares and Ibañez were sanctioned with a PHP50,000 fine each. (PNA)
