DAVAO CITY -- Super flyweight Rey Orais of Mandaue City will face Hayate Kaji of Japan in an 8-rounder on July 6 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The event is sanctioned by the Japan Boxing Commission.

The 34-year-old Orais (20W-18L-2D, 5KO) defeated Ken Achiwa of Japan by a unanimous decision on May 15, 2018 in Japan.

Orais, however, lost right after to Sutep Wangmuk of Thailand by a knockout in the 3rd round of their Bangkok bout also in 2018.

He also lost to Japan’s Yuta Matsuo on Oct. 12, 2018.

The 21-year old Kaji (12W-0L, 9KO), on the other hand, defeated Arnold Garde of Davao City by a unanimous decision last March in Korakuen Hall. (PNA)
