PNP active Covid-19 cases down to 39

MANILA – The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday reported that the number of active coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases among its personnel has dropped to 39.

This is lower than Tuesday's 50 active cases, according to the police force's latest Covid-19 tracker.

The PNP also reported 21 new recoveries, raising the number of recovered personnel to 48,630.

Ten new cases were reported, raising the number of confirmed cases to 48,797 since the pandemic began in March 2020.

The death toll stands at 128 as no new death has been logged.

Meanwhile, the number of fully vaccinated PNP personnel stands at 97.86 percent, or equivalent to 220,076 out of the service's 224,878 personnel.

Those waiting for a second dose are at 1.82 percent or 4,091, while those still unvaccinated are at 0.32 percent or 711.

The number of PNP personnel who got booster shots is placed at 52.91 percent or 116,436. (PNA)
