UAE President hails Morocco for qualifying to WC quarter finals

RABAT – United Arab Emirates (UAE) President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al Nahyane, joined other Heads of State in congratulating Morocco King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the qualification of the Moroccan soccer team to the quarter finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI received a phone call from the UAE President where the latter expressed his warm congratulations for this historic achievement that makes Morocco the first Arab country to reach this stage in a World Cup.

The Morocco king also received Tuesday phone calls from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Republic of Gabon President Ali Bongo Ondimba, and Senegal President Macky Sall.

The Sovereign also received a phone call from His Highness Prince Hassan Ibn Talal of Jordan. (MAP)
