Leading the awardees was the Food Processing and Innovation Center (FPIC) of Davao, which generated numerous product concepts and prototypes, registered utility models, and served diverse customers including students, researchers, faculty, and food processors, according to a news release by the CSC.

FPIC-Davao is the first Regional Food Innovation Center established in the Philippines through the Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) High Impact Technology Solutions program.
