ANKARA – Russian authorities have arrested a South Korean national on espionage suspicions, local media reported.
The individual, whose identity has not been disclosed, was detained in Vladivostok and subsequently transported to Moscow for further investigation, according to Seoul-based Yonhap News, citing Russian media and law enforcement authorities.
The incident marks the first known arrest of a South Korean in Russia on suspicion of espionage. (Anadolu)
