MANILA – The Office of the Vice President (OVP) urged the public to be more vigilant as it flagged groups misrepresenting and linking their affairs to Vice President Sara Duterte or her office.

"Binabalaan ng Office of the Vice President ang publiko laban sa mga tao o grupo na ginagamit ang pangalan ng OVP, at nagpapakilala bilang konektado o empleyado ng OVP (The OVP warns the public against individuals and groups using the name of the OVP, and identifying as connected of employees of the OVP)," the OVP said in a statement late Monday.

It added that all transactions should only be conducted in the legitimate office satellites.

"Kung mayroon mang impormasyon sa anumang kaduda-dudang transaksyon na ginagamit ang OVP, mangyaring i-report ito sa OVP hotlines (If you have information on any suspicious transactions using the OVP, report it to OVP hotlines)," the OVP added.

Victims or concerned citizens may send their complaints to 8352-5942 or 8370-1719.

The public may also coordinate with local police stations when encountering similar incidents. (PNA)
