Quezon City police nab 4 ‘most wanted’ persons

MANILA – The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested four most wanted persons (MWPs) in separate operations on May 3

The QCPD District Anti-Carnapping Unit nabbed Edison Miller, 31, listed as No. 9 district level MWP, in Sikatuna Village.

Miller had a pending warrant of arrest for carnapping issued by the QC Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 76.

Meanwhile, the Cubao Police Station 7 arrested its No. 7 MWP, Marina Cayanan, a 59-year-old resident of Tarlac City.

She had a pending warrant of arrest for six counts of estafa issued by the QC Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 135.

Cayanan was taken from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology’s Tarlac City Jail.

The Eastwood Police Station (PS-12) also arrested Joseph Espadon, 26, the No. 7 MWP of Tapaz Municipal Police Station in Mambusao, Capiz.

He was arrested in front of the Partas Bus terminal in Sampaloc, Manila for frustrated murder.

The Payatas Bagong Silangan PS-13, meanwhile, served the arrest warrant of No. 10 MWP Alfredo Tela, 51, for two counts of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (PNA)
