MANILA – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday visited Camp Navarro General Hospital (CNGH) in Zamboanga City and turned over nearly PHP81-million donations to help improve the military hospital’s services.

 In a Facebook post, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said the PHP80.909 million donation came from the Office of the President.

 “Nagpasalamat ang Pangulo sa mga tauhan ng CNGH para sa kanilang paglilingkod sa mga sundalo at sibilyan sa lalawigan (The President thanked the CNGH personnel for their service to the soldiers and civilians in the province),” the PCO said in the post.

 “Ipinagtibay din niya ang suporta ng pamahalaan sa paghahatid at paglalapit ng abot-kayang healthcare services sa ating mga kababayan sa Western Mindanao (He also affirmed the government's support in delivering and bringing affordable healthcare services to Filipinos in Western Mindanao),” it added.

 The President was accompanied by Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. (PNA)
