Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Acting Chair Don Artes (center) announces in a press briefing in Pasig City on Friday (April 19, 2024) the postponement in the imposition of penalties on e-trikes plying national roads in Metro Manila, as per the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. For a month, the MMDA will flag down violators but will not issue tickets and the vehicles will not be impounded so they will be informed of the regulation and advised about alternate roads they can use.
