MANILA -- F2 Logistics rallied past Petron, 25-20, 24-26, 14-25, 25-19, 15-4, to tie the best-of-three finals series in the Chooks to Go-Philippine Superliga (PSL) Grand Prix at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan Thursday night.

Veterans Cha Cruz and Abby Marano played brilliantly in the fourth set and the deciding fifth set to save the day for the Cargo Movers.

Marano finished with 10 points, including blocks, while Cruz made eight points.

Venezuelan Maria Jose Perez scored 25 points while American Kennedy Bryan added 15 points for F2 Logistics, which was beaten by Petron in the All-Filipino Conference finals last July.

Game 3 is set at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

“They (Petron) felt it was over,” said F2 Logistics head coach Ramil de Jesus. “If you look at it, you may think that it’s already over. But my team refused to quit. We managed to stay close in the fourth set to gain momentum in the fifth set.”

When asked about Game 3, de Jesus said, "I think we already have the momentum. It’s going to be an intense battle.”

Lindsay Stalzer, the 2015 Most Valuable Player, had 24 points while Hillary Hurley chipped in 16 points for Petron. (PNA)
