DAVAO CITY – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) will stage the "Kalambuan sa Kaumahan: An ATI Davao Region Expo" in Ayala Malls Abreeza here on Nov. 24-25, showcasing a package of government services and training support provided to the farmers in the region.

Lucille Camarines, ATI-11 information head, said ATI is also set to introduce innovative online extension services, programs, and initiatives during the exposition.

“The event will serve as a platform for showcasing the products and services offered by our Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSA) program and other organized groups assisted by ATI," she said in a press briefing Tuesday.

Apart from LSA, ATI also offers scholarships and diverse technical training opportunities.

Camarines said the expo’s primary objective is to enhance public awareness of ATI's contributions to the agricultural sector.

“Through the establishment of connections with potential buyers and partners, the expo aims to facilitate the expansion of our clients' market presence and reach. We will also feature LSA booth exhibits and information dissemination activities,” she added.

During the event, Camarines said outstanding extension partners, such as the Best Farmers' Information and Services (FITS) Center, will also be recognized, along with local government that exhibited exemplary performance in the dissemination of agri-fishery information. (PNA)
