MANILA -- Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains, and possible occasional heavy rains, gusty winds and lightning due to thunderstorms, will be experienced over Mindanao, said Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) in its 24-hour forecast released Tuesday afternoon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies, except for isolated light to occasional heavy rains, gusty winds and lightning, will prevail over Metro Manila and rest of the country.

Intertropical convergence zone is affecting Palawan, the Visayas and Mindanao, noted PAGASA.

"Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over Palawan, the Visayas and Mindanao and coming from the southeast to east over rest of Luzon," PAGASA continued.

Coastal waters nationwide will be slight to moderate. (PNA)
