COTABATO CITY – Three suspected drug peddlers were arrested by a team of police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao during drug buy-bust operations Friday afternoon here.
Senior Inspector Tirso Pascual, city police station 4 chief, said the law enforcement operation was conducted at 4 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion 1 that led to the arrest Bulljack Dalama, 41, Toten Dus Dalama, 37, and Roberto Carbo Trecero, 31.
Pascual said a police asset managed to secure a sachet of shabu from one of the three suspects for P500.
“As soon as Dalama handed over the sachet of shabu and received the money, police and PDEA agents arrested him and his companions,” Pascual said.
Police recovered from the suspects 17 sachets of shabu with a street value of PHP30,000, the P500 marked money and shabu paraphernalia.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are readied against the suspects now detained at police station 4 lock-up cell. (PNA)
