MANILA – Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairperson Karlo Nograles announced that the application period for the June 2, 2024 Fire Officer Examination (FOE), Penology Officer Examination (POE), and Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) is open until April 3.
"We are pleased to announce the upcoming administration of the FOE, POE, and BCLTE across 16 regions nationwide, offering opportunities for individuals aspiring to serve in crucial roles as fire officers, penology officers, local treasurers, and assistant local treasurers. We urge applicants to promptly submit their applications, as they will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis," Nograles said in a Wednesday news release.
He added that acceptance of applications may close any time even before the deadline once the CSC Regional Office or Field Office has already reached the target number of applicants for the FOE, POE, and BCLTE.
Applicants for the FOE and POE must strictly meet the qualifications specified on Examination Announcement Nos. 1 and 2, s. 2024 posted in the CSC website; while Examination Announcement No. 3, s. 2024 specifies requirements for applicants for the BCLTE.
